Today I hit a milestone that just a few years ago I did not think I would have a chance to reach. Today I turn 50 and it amazes me that I have gotten this old all of the sudden. It only seems like a few years ago I turned 30, and that was an age that I did not want to admit I had reached. So how do you think I feel about 50? I am just going to say that I am 39 and holding, it not only women that are vain about their ages. I think that next year I will back up instead of going forward. I am now looking forward to my next birthday, at least I think that I am.

This morning I was driving home and I do believe I saw Santa on the roof of a neighbor’s house. So I hurried home and got my dogs walked and settled in for the night. I left a big batch of cookies on the kitchen table and got to sleep as quickly as I could.

It sure paid off. I found a big red stocking on the kitchen table filled with candies and toys. Big boy toys, too. Awesome.
