My almost seven year old grandson has decided that he wants to be in a band and to play a musical instrument. I am all for that, if that’s what he wants to do. He is still interested in football and baseball, add band to that and he will have a full schedule in school in the coming years. I started looking to find a site to buy musical instruments from and I found the perfect site at Shop Wiki they have a great web site with a lot of different products to choose from including musical instruments.

Davis has decided that he wants to play the trumpet and I found the perfect one for him on the Wiki site. I think it will be very good for David to learn to play an instrument and this will give him an exercise for his mind as well as all the exercise that he gets for his body at play and in sports. I never played in a band but I wish that I had, all the good looking girls were in the band and when I told David this he said ew girlsm that will change soon I am sure.

We delivered the newspaper this morning and then we have the Sunday paper tomorrow and then collecting the returns Sunday night then collecting from our stores one more time Thursday and Friday and we are done with our contract. It has been an interesting three years and I had a lot of fun with a lot of headaches at the same time. I am looking forward to moving on and getting another venture started, after I take a few days and relax, something that has been three years in the works for a trip for the two of us.

My baby sister is throwing a baby shower for her daughter who just had a baby a month or so ago, it was a surprise to the entire family including my sister so Jeanetta has nothing at all for the baby to wear or play with. I found a great web site to find some very nice designer baby clothes at a terrific price. I got her a new toy called a jellycat, I have never seen one before but I think it would be a wonderful toy to play with.

The blankets we ordered from Barefoot Dreams are so soft that you would think they were the inside of a marshmallow. I love buying toys and stuff for a baby, they always play with what you get them and no complaints from the baby, that will all come later in life I think. I can not wait till July when we will be able to get back to Oklahoma to see the new momma and the new baby. My little family is growing and there will always be babies to buy gifts for and that is a good thing in my book.

Today if the weather allows we are taking our grandson to ride his very first ferris wheel. He is a brave little dude and I think he will really like to ride the big wheel. I rode my first ferris wheel at the Beaver County fair in 1968, hard to believe it was that long ago. Long ago and very far away. I have always liked the ferris wheels and I think riding on them has helped my fear of heights. Since I rode on the very first one in 1968 I have not been afraid of heights, and since my dad was a roofer that was very helpful to not be afraid of heights.

As I see it we have some sand in our future, and I can not wait. We have made plans to head to Myrtle Beach for the sand sun and bike week. Staying in a Myrtle Beach Resort is a bonus for this trip. To state the facts we will be staying in a North Myrtle Beach Resort on this trip and I can not wait, it looks like one of the finest North Myrtle Beach Resorts on the beach and I am very pleased that we got this reservation for this year. So of our trips to Myrtle Beach have not been as memorable because of the poor hotels we have chosen, this year we stepped up to the plate and hit a home run with the Prince Resort.

We will be taking our grandson with us on this trip and it will be his first trip to the ocean, as much as he is fascinated by sharks and the water in general I think this will be a very fun trip for him. He will be seven in a couple of months and is getting big enough to travel some with us. It will be a fun family vacation this year for sure.
