Car Repairs

by on Tuesday, June 21st, 2011

Connie‘s car would not start this afternoon, so I went over to see if I could help her out. It was a dead battery. I always carry a pair of jumper cables in my trunk, so I drove over to her ed of the parking lot and hooked up the jumper cables so she could get enough power to start her car. It did start right up, so I told her to make sure she runs the car for at least 20 minutes to recharge the battery. If she does that, it should start right back up in the morning. But if it doesn’t, I told her to give me call in the morning and I would come over to give her a ride into work.

My friend and co-worker, Connie, is celebrating her big 4-0 birthday this weekend! Around here we tease people about the big ones with little rhymes: “Lordy, Lordy, Look who’s turning Forty!” I said that to her this morning when she came into work, and she turned beet red! LOL

Getting a start page for yourself!

by on Tuesday, June 7th, 2011

A startpage is something that allows you to add any information you want to start off your day with. Many people choose Yahoo or MSN as there homepage but some like myself choose to set u my own homepage on free websites that allow me to do so as well as you so I figured why not share my favorite places to do a start page.  Start Bewijs  Meff  Link Hotel   Start Club Start Spot

Garden Hose

by on Saturday, June 4th, 2011

Shopping at WalMart – I hate to admit it, but yes, I was there – for some garden supplies last night, I starting chatting with an older gentleman in line. He showed me a garden hose he was going to buy, but he asked me if I knew anything about garden hoses? Well, what’s to know about a garden hose? I asked him what was his concern, and he showed me the yellow hose in his hand as opposed to a display on the endcap of another hose that was orange. He said that both hoses were the same price, but he didn’t know which would be better.

Upon examination, we found that the yellow hose was “light duty” and e orange hose was “medium duty.” So he decided to switch them out and he bought the medium duty hose.
